Mr. Gregory Lawrence Richard, 67, of Bogalusa, peacefully passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at Resthaven Living Center at 10:43 p.m. in Bogalusa.

Gregory was a faithful and dedicated member of the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Brotherhood Auxiliary and Usher Ministry until his decline in health. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children; four daughters, Katrina Hill, Tecia Carson, Andre’Nea Richard, all of Bogalusa, and Tumona Nellums of Chicago, Ill.; and two sons, Hamilton Richard of Bogalusa and Divad Nellums of California.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, located at 1104 Poplas St. in Boglausa. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Raymond E. Mims will be officiating and rendering the eulogy. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Saturday, Feb. 29, from noon until 1 p.m. Interment will be at Bogalusa Cemetery.
