Mr. Alfred Ray McKinney was born Feb. 22, 1993, and departed from his earthly home to his home in glory at the age of 26 on Jan. 31, 2020, in Baton Rouge.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother, Sharon Weary and step-father Jeffery K. Johnson of Mandeville; his father, Mark A. McKinney of Federal Way, Wash.; one son, Kaidyn Ray McKinney of Abita Springs; four brothers, Mark A. Mckinney, Jr., of Seattle, Wash., Rashad K., Kendale D., and Cameron J. Johnson of Mandeville; two sisters, Aajynaw Mis Johnson of Mandeville, and Shakara Thomas of Raleigh, N.C.; one nephew, Alexander Johnson; one niece, Kali Nixon; two godchildren, London Mya, and Isaiah M. Soteropolas; two special brothers, Steven Soteropolas of Mandeville, and Tristan Sorah of Marrero; two special loving friends, Khodijah Tashaun and Shay Rankins; grandmother, Zennie P. Weary of Angie; a very special uncle, Joel Dawson of Angie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ervie Lee McKinney.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 14, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home chapel from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., in Bogalusa.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ in Varnado at 11 a.m. with Supt. Leslie Fields, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Ford Chapel Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Miss.
