Varnado’s Wildcats were defeated by Amite, 69-54, in a District 9-2A contest held Friday on the road.
Zyquantay Bickham recorded 12 points to top Varnado. Bickham also pulled down six rebounds.
Miguel Fland posted 10 points, four boards and five assists.
Michael Fland tallied nine points and three steals.
Kim McGowan Jr. posted nine points and a pair of steals.
