LSU’s national championship victory over Clemson, 42-25, on Monday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome featured two former high school players from Washington Parish.

Offensive lineman and 2015 Franklinton High School graduate Adrian Magee and wide receiver and 2015 Pine High School graduate Derrick Dillon both play for LSU.

It is a great accomplishment for the school and for these two senior football players.

LSU went 15-0 this season in capturing its fourth national title.

Congratulations to Magee, Dillon and the entire LSU football team on a great season.
