Nathan Eric Polk entered into the arms of Jesus on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020. Nathan is survived by his parents, Robert Wayne Polk Sr. and Ericka Young Polk; his sisters, Kristen Elizabeth Polk and Candice Nicole Polk; his fiancée, Gracie Palmer; maternal grandparents, Roland Eric Young and Stephanie Ann Harris; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Polk; great-grandparents, Elmer and Gwen Corkern; and his best friend and cousin, John Daniel Polk and his faithful companions, “Sandy Mandy,” “Jazz Mo” and “Rosie Posie.” He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Young; and his grandfather, Robert Darrell Polk.

Nathan graduated with his Associates Degree in OSHA Safety Regulations, and was almost complete with getting his Bachelor’s Degree. He had obtained his Crane Operators License from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators. He loved spending time with his family, and his hobbies were being on the river fishing, and building high performance motors for race cars. His Love for the Lord was so strong, and he was always inspiring others and was a peacemaker. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home, 216 Alabama Ave. in Bogalusa, and the visitation began at 11 a.m. until the service time. Burial followed in Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
