Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Cameron Bullen

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Cameron Bullen is a two-sport athlete. The senior plays football and basketball.
In football, Bullen has played several different positions, including center, offensive tackle, nose guard and deep snapper. In basketball, Bullen is a center.
Bullen was an all-district honorable-mention in football his junior year.
“Cameron’s a great kid, very respectful towards adults and his teammates,” Ben’s Ford Christian School boys basketball coach Landon Tims said. “He’s a hard worker. He talks about putting in the time and the work and he backs it up. This is his first year playing basketball. He’s never played before, but when you watch him play on the court, you would think he has been playing a lot longer than he has because his work ethic is top notch. He’s a great kid. He’s a great student. He’s just an all-around exceptional athlete and I’ve really enjoyed my time with him. He makes bus rides and locker rooms and sitting the bleachers waiting to play games and the long evenings, he makes it fun. He’s just a good all-around kid.”

What do you enjoy most about playing your sports?
Just the team. It’s fun to have a team around me, being able to enjoy the time I have on the court, enjoy the time I have at practice with my teammates.

What do you like best about being a student athlete?
Getting to see my teammates every single day. Hanging out with them, talking to them about the gameplan that we’ve got going in, who all we think is going to do our best and what we think we’re capable of.

Who has been the most influential person in your school sports career? Why?
My dad (Kendall Bullen). My dad’s pushed me so much over the years, he’s cheered me on at every single football game, he’s come to my home basketball games, he’s been there for me since day one.

Who is your favorite athlete? Why?
Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. He put in the hard work. He was ready to do anything it took to win.

Favorite team?
LSU Tigers.

Best thing about living in Washington Parish?
All of the great memories. All of the great memories from the fair, being with my family and friends, just enjoying the life here.
