Ben’s Ford goes 1-2 the week before Christmas

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Eagles went 1-2 in games held last week.
On Dec. 17, Ben’s Ford suffered a 74-38 setback to Salem on the road.
John Robert Holston led the team with 12 points. He also grabbed three rebounds and made four steals.
Joseph Williams posted eight points and seven boards.
John Eric Self recorded seven points, two boards, four assists and he blocked a shot.
Sam Peters had six points, four rebounds and he blocked two shots.
Jonah Williams had three points and two rebounds.
Gage Adams posted two points and a rebound.
Jonah Holston had four rebounds and two assists, while Nate Descant made a steal.
Ben’s Ford then defeated Prentiss Christian School on the road Dec. 19.
Self led the team with 24 points. Self grabbed seven rebounds and dished out an assist.
John Robert Holston tallied nine points, two boards, an assist and a trio of steals.
Williams had five points and a rebound.
Jonah Holston posted five points and a board.
A.J. Exkano had two points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and he blocked a shot.
Peters tallied eight rebounds, an assist and he blocked a shot, while Descant posted two rebounds and an assist and Cameron Bullen and Adams pulled down a rebound each in the win.
The following day was a 43-38 loss to Resurrection Catholic at home.
Exkano led Ben’s Ford with 13 points. Exkano also pulled down eight rebounds and made two steals.
Jonah Holston had seven points, two rebounds and a steal.
Peters tallied six points, eight rebounds, an assist, a steal and he blocked a shot.
Self recorded six points, six boards, an assist and a steal.
Bullen had two points and two rebounds.
Bullen tallied two points and two rebounds.
John Robert Holston and Descant had two points and a steal each.
Williams pulled down two rebounds.
Ben’s Ford’s next game will be Monday, Jan. 6 at home against Amite School Center.
