Kenneth Jack Barlow passed away in Denham Springs on Dec. 23, 2019, at the age of 80. He was born in Bogalusa on Feb. 25, 1939.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sumrall Barlow of Denham Springs; his daughters, Cheri (Tim) Richardson of Denham Springs, and Dana (Kelly) Russell of Denham Springs; one sister, Vivian (Bill) Ready of Bogalusa; his grandchildren, Clint (Michelle) Richardson, Grant Russell, Kendal Russell, Brock Russell and Jacob Russell; and three great-grandchildren, Kylie Richardson, Brady Richardson and Kambry Barlow Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucious and Myrtle Barlow; and three sisters, Joy Varnado, Betty Wheat and Bobbie Lee Barlow.

Services celebrating Mr. Barlow’s life were held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa on Friday, Dec. 27. Visitation began at 9 a.m. and continued until the service began at 11 a.m. Interment followed at the Garden of Peace Cemetery in Bogalusa.
