Bowling Green victorious over Wayne, Laurel

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers were victorious over Wayne Academy and Laurel Christian School in road games held Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s game was a 49-34 victory over Wayne Academy.
Hope Crowe and Macey Jones led Bowling Green in points with 15 each. Crowe made five 3-pointers, pulled down a rebound and made two steals. Jones made 7-of-14 from the field, tallied five boards, made three steals and she blocked two shots.
Kyley Seals posted seven points, six rebounds, four assists and a steal.
Bailey Devall had five points that included a 3-pointer, two boards, two assists and three steals.
KaKa Seal recorded four points, a rebound, two assists and two steals.
Bridget Devall put up two points along with three rebounds and a steal.
Allie McCain posted a point, three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Anna Claire Crowe had two rebounds, dished out five assists and made two steals, while Allie Schilling tallied two boards and Merci Ray pulled down a rebound.
Saturday’s game was a 51-20 win over Laurel Christian School.
Hope Crowe was the Lady Buccaneers’ leading scorer with 11 on 4-of-5 from the field and she hit three 3-pointers. She also had a rebound, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Jones posted nine points on 4-of-6 and she blocked three shots.
Seals recorded eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, a rebound, two assists and three steals.
Bridget Devall tallied six points on 3-of-6 from the field that included a 3-pointer, a rebound, an assist and a steal.
McCain had five points that included a 3-pointer, two rebounds, two assists and three steals.
Seal posted four points, two boards, two assists and three steals.
Lacie Penton had three points and a rebound.
Peyton Dupey posted three points with a 3-pointer and a rebound.
Schilling had two points, four boards, three assists and two steals.
Ray posted three rebounds and two steals, while Bailey Devall had a rebound and an assist, Anna Claire Crowe grabbed a rebound and dished out two assists and Emily Cothern grabbed a rebound.
Bowling Green’s next game will be Friday at home against Parklane Academy.
