Lady Eagles defeat Laurel, Resurrection

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles were victorious over Laurel Christian School and Resurrection Catholic School in games held recently.
Ben’s Ford’s win over Laurel was 56-43 at home on Friday, Dec. 6.
Kelci Freeman had a solid game, going for a team-leading 24 points to go with six rebounds, an assist and four steals.
Alaina McClelland posted 13 points, four boards, two assists and one steal.
Lindsey McGehee recorded seven points and six boards.
Bailey Stewart tallied six points, five rebounds and four steals.
Allie Jacobs had three points, four rebounds and a steal.
Dani Descant logged three points, one rebound, an assist and a steal.
Sylvia Rosa grabbed two rebounds, dished out two assists, made a pair of steals and she blocked a shot, while Natalie Seal pulled down a rebound for Ben’s Ford.
On Monday, Ben’s Ford defeated Resurrection Catholic, 40-20, on the road.
Freeman led the team in points once again, this time with 15. Freeman wasn’t far from a triple-double, as she pulled down seven rebounds and made eight steals.
McClelland filled up the stat sheet with 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, five steals and she blocked a shot.
McGehee tallied nine points, five rebounds and four steals.
Dani Descant posted three points and a steal.
Jacobs recorded two points, five rebounds and one steal.
Stewart had a point, two boards, three assists and four steals.
Rosa pulled down four rebounds and made a steal, while Seal had a rebound and a steal and Kimberly Stogner added a rebound in the victory.
Ben’s Ford’s next game will take place Monday on the road against Salem High School.
