Ben’s Ford Christian School topped by Laurel, Resurrection

Ben’s Ford Christian School was defeated by Laurel Christian School and Resurrection Catholic School by nearly identical scores in games held recently.
The home game against Laurel on Friday, Dec. 6, was 66-52.
A.J. Exkano led the team in scoring with 19 points to go with five rebounds and a pair of steals.
John Eric Self posted 11 points and missed a double-double by just three rebounds with seven. He also dished out an assist and made a steal.
John Robert Holston posted nine points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Joseph Williams tallied six points and two rebounds.
Micaiah Rosa posted two points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Sam Peters had two points and two rebounds.
Nate Descant tallied two points, a rebound and an assist.
Jonah Holston had a point, a rebound and two assists.
Cameron Bullen pulled down a rebound for Ben’s Ford.
On Monday, Ben’s Ford suffered a 65-52 setback to Resurrection Catholic School.
Exkano led the team with 21 points and did not miss a triple-double by much. He pulled down eight rebounds and made nine steals.
Self posted 11 points with seven rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot.
John Robert Holston tallied seven points, two rebounds and two steals.
Jonah Holston posted four points, three boards and two steals.
Rosa had four points and a pair of rebounds.
Descant tallied two points, three rebounds and a steal.
Bullen logged two points.
Adams posted a point and a rebound.
Peters grabbed five boards, while Williams had one.
Ben’s Ford will be back in action on Monday, when the Eagles travel to Salem.
