Bowling Green School played in 2 tournaments Thanksgiving week

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers played three games over two tournaments Thanksgiving week.
The Lady Buccaneers were defeated in the three games, with setbacks to Jackson Academy, Brookhaven Academy and Poplarville.
The first two games were in the Brookhaven Academy Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament while the final contest was in the Poplarville Thanksgiving Invitational at Pearl River Community College.
On Monday, Nov. 25, Bowling Green was defeated by Jackson Academy, 51-43.
Macey Jones led the Lady Bucs in scoring with 15 points and had a double-double after pulling down 10 rebounds. Jones also blocked a shot.
Bailey Devall tallied 14 points that included two 3-pointers. Devall had four rebounds, two assists and four steals.
Hope Crowe posted six points on a pair of 3-pointers to go with a rebound and a steal.
Kyley Seals logged five points, eight boards, two assists and four steals.
Anna Claire Crowe had three points, an assist and one steal.
KaKa Seal and Allie Schilling had a rebound each.
Bowling Green lost to Brookhaven Academy, 49-39, the next day.
Seals led the team with 12 points, to go with five rebounds, one assist and a pair of steals.
Jones posted eight points, five boards, an assist, one steal and she blocked two shots.
Bailey Devall tallied six points, four boards, three assists and she made five steals.
Hope Crowe posted six points that included two 3-pointers along with five rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Seal had five points that included a 3-pointer along with three rebounds.
Anna Claire Crowe had two points and a rebound.
Schilling pulled down a rebound.
On Friday, Bowling Green suffered a 41-31 setback to Poplarville at PRCC.
Seals and Jones led the team in scoring with nine points each. Seals had six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jones recorded five boards and she blocked four shots.
Hope Crowe posted seven points, a rebound, two assists, three steals and she blocked a shot.
Bailey Devall had four points, three rebounds and a steal.
Seal recorded two points and a pair of steals.
Anna Claire Crowe tallied a rebound, two assists and a steal.
