Bowling Green defeats Ben’s Ford

Bowling Green School’s Buccaneers defeated Ben’s Ford, 71-22, on the road on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Jace Schexnider led all scorers with 16 points for Bowling Green.
Braden Edwards and Rece Dillon scored eight points each.
A.J. Exkano tallied seven points to top Ben’s Ford. He also had four rebounds.
John Eric Self posted three points, five rebounds, a steal and he blocked a shot.
Nate Descant tallied three points and a steal.
Joseph Williams recorded three points.
Jonah Holston had two points and four steals.
John Robert Holston scored two points, made a steal and he blocked a shot.
Gage Adams posted two points, a rebound and he blocked a shot.
Sam Peters tallied a rebound, an assist, a steal and he blocked two shots, while Micaiah Rosa grabbed a rebound and made a steal and Cameron Bullen pulled down a rebound.
On Thursday, Ben’s Ford lost to Amite School Center, 54-46, in a road game.
Exkano topped the Eagles with 18 points and missed a double-double by just a rebound, as he had nine boards to go with an assist and a steal.
Self posted 17 and only missed a double-double by a rebound as well. He finished with nine rebounds and made three steals.
John Robert Holston tallied six points, four boards and a pair of steals.
Jonah Holston had three points, two boards, an assist and a steal.
Adams recorded two points, a rebound and a steal.
Bullen had two rebounds, while Peters, Williams and Descant recorded a rebound each.
Bowling Green will be back in action on Friday, with a road game against Wayne Academy.
Up next for Ben’s Ford is a home game against Lamar Christian School on Thursday.
