Carlos Glynn Penton passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at South East Louisiana War Veterans Home. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was survived by three sons, Billy Penton of Talisheek, Carl Penton of Tylertown, Miss., and Terry Penton of Sun; two daughters, Lynn Goldhammer of Bush, and Lisa Mejia of Albany; two brothers, Robert Penton of Carriere, Miss., and Elloitt Penton of Baton Rouge; and one sister, Mary Anderson of Abita Springs. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Carlos was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Penton; parents, Eddie and Nellie Penton; and one brother, Eddie Penton Jr.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m., with full military honors performed by American Legion Post #24 in Bogalusa. Officiating will be the Rev. Larry Thomas. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday at 8 a.m. until the service time. Interment will immediately follow at Penton Cemetery in Talisheek.
