Justin Wayne Scott passed away on Oct. 27, 2019, in Plainfield, Conn., at the age of 39. Justin was a resident of Ponchatoula, but a native of Bogalusa, born on Sept. 7, 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Scott of Ponchatoula; one son, Jordan Scott of Baton Rouge; his stepchildren, Jahean Green, Destiny Green, and Sevine Green, all of Ponchatoula; his father, Earl “Butch” (Pam) Scott; mother, Beth (James) Hall; one brother, Stamper (Amber) Scott of Bogalusa; step-brother, Shayne Hall of Dallas, Texas; his grandmother, Mary Ann McClain; grandmother-in-law, Mary Angel; nieces and nephews, Tyler Scott, Taylor Scott, Chandler Scott, and Anabeth Scott, all of Bogalusa; and great-niece, Camille Scott, of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Joe McClain, Gloria Keitch and also Marguerite and Earl Scott Sr.

His arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa. Services will be at Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church on Friday, Nov. 1. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until the service begins at 3 p.m. The Rev. Marcus Rosa will officiate.
