On Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, God sent his angels to welcome home his son, Linzie Ray “Bull” Scott, to his final resting place. He was born on Aug. 17, 1954, to Irma Jean Scott and the late Jarry P. Scott in Bogalusa.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Juliette N. Scott of Bogalusa; mother, Irma Jean (Cramer) Crain of Bogalusa; seven daughters, Kinzie Scott, Tangica (Koyla) Collins and Linaricka Scott and Brittany Scott, all of Bogalusa, Shawanda Brister of Shreveport, Khalilah (Todd) Mosley of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lynkyra Scott of Austella, Ga.; five sons, Linzie (Amy) Scott of Bogalusa, Terrance Quillens of Houston, Texas, Jacque (Daniele) James of Baton Rouge, Torrance Scott of Atlanta, Ga., and Brett Chapman of Gulfport, Miss.; four brothers, Webster “PeeWee” Scott, Michael A. (Glenda) Scott, Fredrick (Silvan) Scott and Daneal D. Scott, all of Bogalusa; four sisters, Sintra (L.C.) Jefferson, Theresa S. Wilson, Stephanie (Denver) Myers and Ursula Scott, all of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry P. Scott; and two sisters, Valeria M. and Gwedolyn Scott.

Visitation will be at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa on Friday, Nov. 1, from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Bogalusa High School auditorium at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Raymond Mims officiating.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
