Mr. Gary Donise “Donise the Police” Harry was born Nov. 10, 1958, to the late Mr. James Willie Williams and Mrs. Esther Lee Moses and he departed from his earthly house to his home in glory on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

Gary was employed at the Bogalusa Medical Center for more than 25 years.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: one daughter, Tonitha Walker of Bogalusa; one son, Delvin Donise Harry of Bogalusa; one sister, Amenda (Lionel) Mark of Varnado; two brothers, Clark K. (Dorothy) Harry and James (Gabrielle) Harry, both of Varnado; grandchild, Tiaja “Kizzie” Marks of Bogalusa; and a special friend, Dalbo of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Williams and Esther Lee Moses Williams; grandparents, Joana Wells, Emanuel Lewis, Nolan Moses, Jessie Lewis and Frank Harvey; brother, Cory Harry; uncle, Frank Harvey Jr.; and special friend, Top Blackwell.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 27, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., followed by the family hour from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Varnado at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. Nolan Robinson, eulogist.

Interment will be in the Robinson Cemetery in Varnado. Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.
