Alice Freeman

Mrs. Alice Faye Freeman passed away peacefully at the home of her granddaughter, Trista Weaver, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the age of 77.
Alice is survived by two sons, Tyrone and his wife Tracey Freeman, and Timmy and his wife Casey Corkern; two sisters, Brenda and her husband Jay Penton, and Sybil Beall; three brothers, Lovic Wayne Cotton, Lonnie Roy Cotton and Johnny Cotton and his wife June; four grandchildren, Trista and her husband Kyle Weaver, Alison, Hillary and Christina Corkern; and two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Luke Weaver.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Freeman; her parents, Lovic and Mandy Cotton; two brothers, Billy Ray Cotton and Robert Cotton; and one son, Todd Corkern.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Saturday, July 6, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Pete Underwood officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Pounds Cemetery in Bogalusa. Visitation was held at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
