Mr. Steven Michael Smith, born May 18, 1971, passed away Feb. 25, 2019.

A resident of Isabel, he was raised in Crossroads, Miss. His life was taken from a tragic electrical accident.

Survivors include father, Micheal M Smith of Isabel; two daughters, Savannah Grace Smith of Isabel, and Dynasty Turnage Wood and twin grandchildren of Pine; one son, Colton Smith of Poplarville, Miss.; one brother, Scott Harrel (Nikki) Wheat of Crossroads; grandmother, Betty June Wheat Stogner of Bogalusa; Alicia Mixon, mother of his daughter, Savannah Smith; uncles; aunts; cousins and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, June Aline Wheat Smith Stafford; paternal grandmother, Gwenive Talley; grandfather, John E. Smith, and maternal grandfather, Harrel Wheat.

A memorial service honoring his life is to be held April 6 at 1 p.m. at the B&C Hall, located at 139 Cumberland St. in Bogalusa.

Officiating at Steven’s service will be Pastor Ronald Wilson.

Steven’s favorite pastime was hunting and fishing. We will always carry his memory in our hearts. Rest in peace Steven. His smile and laughter will be missed.

Interment will be in Isabel Cemetery at a later date. The burial service will be private.
