Gladys Mosley

Sister Gladys Bernell Dyson Mosley entered peacefully into eternal rest on Oct. 31, 2018. Gladys, who was affectionately known to many as “Glat,” was born on May 19, 1936, to the lineage of the late Eunice and Willie E. Dyson Sr.
Sister Gladys was a dedicated member of Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one loving brother, Jerry Scott Dyson (Betty) of Washington, D.C.; two step-sisters, Mona C. Barnes Anderson (Ed) of Los Angeles, Calif., and Alcie Von Barnes of Seattle, Wash.; one step-brother, Bobby Barnes of Seattle; two sisters-in-law, Charlene, wife of the late Rev. Raymond Dyson of Pine Bluff, Ark., Iris, wife of the late Milton Dyson of Los Angeles; one aunt, Bettye Carol Mae, wife of the late Rev. Henry Dyson of Bogalusa; one god-son Dr. Jason England, of Atlanta, Ga.; a little sister in Christ, Dr. Adriona (Fred) Taylor, of Covington; one adopted sister, Marlyn “Sis” Reeves Payne of Los Angeles; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, Eunice and Willie Earl Dyson Sr.; and brothers, Willie Earl Jr., Richard, Rev. Raymond, and Milton Dyson.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness USA with Elder Kevin D. Golden, pastor, officiating, and Senior Bishop Vernon E. Kennebrew as eulogist. Interment will be in Sweet Home Cemetery.
