Gregory Crain

Gregory Lavell Crain passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, at the age of 55. He was born in Bogalusa on Nov. 25, 1962. He loved cars and was a very proud grandfather of 11 loveable grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include the love of his life, Sedean Crain of Bogalusa; his father, Lavell Crain of Bogalusa; his mother, Winifred (Joseph) Johnson of Bogalusa; two daughters, Kristen Crain of New Orleans, and April (Scott) Palermo of Belle Chasse; three stepchildren, Kassie Benoit, Aaron (Peggy) Mizell, and Krystal Mizell of Bogalusa; stepmother, Sylvia Toney of Bogalusa; two sisters, Cecilia (Ed) Blackwell and Sharon (James) Creel of Bogalusa; one step-sister, Cheryl (Alan) Puckett of Bogalusa; and one step-brother, Tim (Michelle) Johnson of Pine. He is also survived by loving friends, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family.

The family received friends on Friday, Nov. 9, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 9 a.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Graveside service will follow at Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Eric Williams will officiate.
