Darrie Durrell Moore was born on Dec. 17, 1961, in Bogalusa, and departed this life on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018.

He attended Toulminville High School.

Darrie was a faithful member of Holy Temple COGIC.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Joe and Gladys Moore; his twin sister, Darlene Abrams; his grandparents and great-grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving wife, Sophia Moore; a son, Markey Henderson; one grandchild; a devoted niece and nephew, Tonika Richardson and Gilford Abrams Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 16, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home’s Franklinton location.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Lear Hill COGIC, with Supt. Leslie Fields officiating.
