Albert A. Grasso, 83, of Franklinton, died on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond.

He was born Wednesday, March 13, 1935, in New Orleans, to Sebastian Grasso and Rose Giambellucia Grasso.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Talbot Grasso, and sister, Jo Ann Grasso Bacino and husband Phillip.

He was predeceased by his father, Sebastian Grasso; mother, Rose Giambellucia Grasso; and brothers, Marion Grasso, Joseph Grasso and Michael Grasso.

Albert was the owner of the Lions Den Cocktail Lounge in Metairie. He also leaves behind good friends, Ronnie Signorelli, Sal Mortillaro, John St. Pierre, Charles Bell, Jimmy Crawford and Marilyn Mester; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Ruth Stevens. A special thank you to his wonderful caregivers, Eric Provost and nurse Shelia Seal.

Albert’s request is that there be no service.
