Ethan Pittman, the son of Terry and Lovelady Pittman of Bogalusa, is shown at the National Little Britches Rodeo Association World Finals held in July in Guthrie, Okla. Pittman, a Senior Chemical Engineering Major at McNeese State University, is a four-year member of the McNeese Cowboys Rodeo team, where he receives a rodeo scholarship for cowboy protection.

He was among three bullfighters selected by the NLBRA Board of Directors in December of 2017 at the National Finals Rodeo for his dedication to the protection of the young participants in the sport.

He spends his free time traveling to rodeo events throughout Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.

In addition, he bullfights at local junior high, high school, and amateur rodeos as well as practice pens, the Built God Tough Roughstock Series and Trail to the Cross Rodeo Bible Camp.
