Sister Henrietta Wilson’s earthly journey began on October 31, 1945, in New

Orleans to the late Viola Coleman McGee and Isreal Jackson. Quietly on

Thursday, June 14, 2018, she earned her heavenly wings.

She received Christ at an early age, was baptized and became a member of Beach Grove Baptist Church. Henrietta was a majorette while attending Capital Senior High School of Baton Rouge.

Henrietta moved to San Francisco, Calif., in the early 1960s, where she pursued her career as a nurse at San Francisco General Hospital. On Nov. 26, 1965, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Alfred Wilson of Wilma. They were blessed with three beautiful children: Fredrick, Landry and Stephanie.

The family later moved to San Jose, Calif., where Henrietta became a Deaconess of True Vine Baptist Church. She also served as Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star. Henrietta was very active in her children lives; as Girl Scout Troop Leader, Team Mom and Cheer Coach for the Evergreen Football Organization. She was a Licensed Share Living Provider caring for people with disabilities. Henrietta was a dedicated member of the Stockton Old Timers Social Club, where she enjoyed hosting and attending events.

Precious and fond memories will be cherished in the hearts of: her loving husband of 52 years Alfred Wilson; one daughter, Stephanie L. Wilson of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Landry E. Wilson of Manteca, Calif., and Fredrick L. Wilson (Daphne) of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one granddaughter, Tanesa Calhoun; five grandsons, Landry Wilson Jr., Randalé Wilson, Fred Nelson, Marquez Nelson and Marcel Wilson, all of California; eight great-grandchildren, Yniah, Fred, Andrea, Zymir, Jaliyah, Jayde,

Jalaya and Zaniyah, all of California; two brothers, Joseph Patrick Sr. (Betty) and Roosevelt Patrick (Janine), both of California; five sisters-in-law, Lee Alma Patrick of Louisiana, Lola Williams of California, Celestine Tucker (Tyrone), Sundra Bickham (Jimmie), Sonja Badon (Michael), all of Louisiana; one brother-in-law, Orby Kenneth Wilson (Judy) of Louisiana; one god-daughter, Patricia Murphy; nephew-son, Timothy Gray, both of California; three aunts, Jane Wilson Watson, Shirley Wilson and Hazel Evans, all of Louisiana; two uncles, Wade Wilson (Willie Mae) and Wilton Wilson Sr., all of Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Marie E. Gray (Charles); two brothers, Hollis Patrick Jr. (Ruby) and Lionel N. Patrick; one daughter-in-law, Mindy Wilson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Mable Wilson; and two sisters-in-law, MaeDora Cryer and Wilva Wilson Lathem.
