Ronnell Sartin

Mr. Ronnell Sartin was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He was born Aug. 18, 1949, to the late Althea Richardson Pigott and Joe Sartin.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by the family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m. at New Triumph Baptist Church, located at 801 Sullivan Drive in Bogalusa, with the Rev. E.L. Powell, pastor, officiating.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Ronnell Jr., Anita and Kelvin; 10 sisters, Kayla Holmes, Yvonne Taylor, Sylvia (Fred) Scott, Faye Pigott, Beverly (Saul) Davis, Dorothy Sartin, Brenda (Dudley Jr.) Stalling, Dianna (Henry) Moore, Renee Sartin and Demtri Barr; eight brothers, Jeffrey Pigott, Donnell (Tiffany) Pigott, Leroy Pigott, Steve (Carolyn) Sartin, Bobby Sartin, Eric (Bridget) Sartin, Byron (Loleta) Sartin and Dontel Sartin; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Georgia Hodges; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Althea Pigott and Joseph (Audrey) Sartin; sisters, Jonell Pigott and Patricia Taylor; brother, Herman Pigott Jr.; maternal grandmother, Marlean Richardson; his grandfather, Louis Crain; and paternal grandparents, Jacob Sartin and Ordin (Hoze) Wells.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
