Summer Shantelle Dykes, 36, born Nov. 28, 1981, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at her home in Pine.

Summer is survived by her two children, Wynter Mary Marie and Treygen Lawrence Paul Hartzog; her father, Paul Lessie Dykes; paternal grandfather, Lessie (Les) Dykes; one sister, Autumn Nicole Dykes; two nieces, Alexus (Lexy) Nicole Rawls and Cloé Allydia Crain; one nephew, Mason Lane Hunt; and many other family and friends that will greatly miss her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Annette Davis; maternal grandparents, Alton and Jeanette Davis; and paternal grandmother, Verdie Mae Dykes.

A memorial service will be held at “Store House Church” in Franklinton, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
