Melissa Ann (Missy) Foster was born Dec. 5th, 1964 to the parentage of William T. Sr., and Ella M. Foster of Varnado.
Missy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Congregational MBC under the leadership of Pastor Louis M. Jones of Los Angeles, Calif. where she served as usher and song in the choir, where she remained until returning to Louisiana, where she joined the Mt. Zion MBC under the leadership of Dr. A. S. Nelson.
Missy attended Century Park Elementary School then to Henry Clay and was a graduate of Morning Side High School. She was employed by April Home Care as a supervisor for 20-plus years and later because of her health, came to be Finance Officers of the Foster Family Child Care. Her health began to fail and she made Louisiana her permanent home in 2007.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion MBC with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m.  Eulogist, Dr. Bryon Muse, Officiant, Rev. Lesley McKinley.
