Franklinton went 2-1 in the Covington High School Shootout Basketball Tournament, after finishing the event with a 61-52 victory over Ponchatoula last Saturday afternoon.
Raisean Hart and T.Y. Pope scored 17 points each to lead the Demons. Hart knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and Pope hit one 3-pointer.
Kian Conerly put up 14 points.
Lagarian Bell scored five points while Joshua Baughton had three and Keandre Martin added two in the win. Baughton connected on a 3-pointer.
Franklinton split its first two games, which took place Nov. 15-16.
The Demons defeated Hammond, 63-48, on Nov. 15, but lost to Covington, 72-55, the following day.
