James Weary

On Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at 3:28 p.m., the angel of death came and silently claimed the soul of the one we loved so dearly, James Louis “Bo” Weary. He was born Dec. 5, 1958, to the late Chance Weary and Charlene Morris Weary.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted and loving wife of 28 years, Evelyn Smith Weary of Angie; two sons, James Mitchell (Christie) Weary of Chicago, Ill., and Kentrell (Natavia) Lundie of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Ingrid Lundie of Bogalusa; grandchildren, James Mitchell Jr., Jasmine, Jalen, Jamila and Jabari Mitchell, Mathew Pack, Zarian Young, Nigel Cole, and Ja’Nayvia and Kenyon (K.J.) Lundie; one brother, Chance Weary Jr. (Yolanda) of Kaplan; mother-in-law, Louise Smith; father-in-law, Robert Smith; sister-in-law, Brenda Smith; brother-in-law, Patrick Smith; godchildren, Raven Bickham, Sharonda Greely Smith, Nicole Smith, Treavor Smith, Aungell Williams and Akesa Mark; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chance Weary and Charlene Morris Weary; maternal grandparents, Roscoe Weary and Sophie Pigott; fraternal grandparents, Arnecia and Louis Morris; aunts, Gwendolyn Smith, Josephine Williams, Selena Holmes and Jeraldine Mark; and uncles, L.W. Weary, L.J. Weary and Roy Holmes.

Visitation will be held at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa on Friday, Nov. 3, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at Mary’s Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 63343 Jones Creek Road in Angie, at noon, with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in the Robinson Cemetery in Angie.
