Hunter Lonnie Fornea, a resident of Varnado, born on May 13, 1989, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the age of 27.

He is survived by his father, Jeff Fornea of Varnado; his mother, Angela (Guy) Miller of Franklinton; his sister, Reese Miller of Franklinton; his brother, Gabriel Miller of Franklinton; his paternal grandfather, Lonnie Fornea of Varnado; his aunts, Laurie (Harry) Williams, Fran Kennedy, Joan Ezell, and Teresa (Brad) Pierce; and his cousins, Brittney Williams, Tanya Harvey, Chris Goings, Josh Ezell, Danielle Ikerd, Felicia Hillhouse, Bradley Pierce, Lindsey Pierce, Joseph Kennedy, Jacey Kennedy, and Paris Kennedy.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jerry Ann Fornea; his paternal great-grandparents, Cedric and Iris Fornea; paternal great-grandmother, Sedgie Kennedy, and paternal great-grandfather, Dalco Kennedy; his maternal grandparents, J. W. and Martha Kennedy; and an uncle, Jody Kennedy.

Visitation was held Wednesday, March 22, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation continued Thursday, March 23, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral services began at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kathy A. Pfleider and John Dawsey officiating. Interment followed at T. P. Fornea Cemetery in Varnado.
