Mildria Cora Swilley George, 94, born in Bogalusa, on Oct. 4, 1922, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, at her home in Bogalusa.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary George and Jennifer Germany George; her grandchildren, Devin George, Megan George, Denise Gonzales, Donna Dutrich, Larry Allen George and Jeffrey Scott George; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brothers, Heldria F. Swilley and Clyde Swilley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nelson George; her son, Charles Larry George; her sisters, Helen Dunaway and Virginia Dunaway; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine George Swilley and Audrey Swilley.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, in Ponemah Cemetery at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating.
