Delos R. “Dickie” Williams Sr., 83, passed away Sept. 24, 2016, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He was a member of Lee’s Creek Baptist Church and member of the Sun Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Thomas Williams of Bogalusa; one son, Delos R. Williams Jr. (Rhonda) of Bogalusa; daughters, Debbie Williams Stafford (Randy) of Franklinton and Vicki Williams St. Pierre (Ray) of Franklinton; one brother, Johnny S. Williams (Maria) of Zapata, Texas; one sister, Lillian Williams Stafford (James) of Franklinton; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Delos and Gertrude Williams; brothers, Francis Williams, Benjamin Delos Williams and William Harold “Billy” Williams; sisters, Mary Katherine Byrd and Golda Joyce Williams Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, Sept. 26, at Lee’s Creek Baptist Church from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation continued on Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. until time for services at 11 a.m., with Masonic services conducted by Sun Lodge at 9:30 a.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Allen officiated.

Pallbearers were Collin Williams, Ben Williams, Camron Williams, Timothy Sanderson, James St. Pierre and Cole Taylor.
