Mamie Thomas McDonald age 94 passed away Aug. 19, 2016 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs, La. She was a resident of Bogalusa and member of Ben’s Ford Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons both of Bogalusa, Edward Wilson McDonald and Corbett Dale McDonald. Two daughters, Dianne Muchow of Denham Springs, La, and Deborah Rodish also of Denham Springs, La. One brother Leon Thomas Sr. of Bogalusa La, and one sister Genevieve Strahan of McComb Ms. Eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill McDonald, a daughter Peggy Rivera, parents Ben and Pearlie Bass Thomas, one brother Louis Chalmette Thomas, and nine sisters.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery. Elder Caleb Martin will officiate.
