Talmage “Dewayne” Magee, 65, born on March 26, 1951, in Bogalusa, died on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by a daughter, Rachelle “Dee” Jones of Bogalusa; a son, Matthew (Misti) Magee of Bogalusa; two sisters, Judy M. (Dary) Brouillete of Bogalusa and Cynthia Magee of Hammond; and seven grandchildren, Ariel, Brandon, Ty, Kayleigh, Jackson, Jathan and Kendall.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Talmage and Rachel Magee; and a sister, Sandra Kay Keaton.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
