John Doyle Thomas Jr., 55, born on July 22, 1960, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Gerald Hartfield Thomas; his father, John Doyle Thomas Sr.; and a brother, Donnie Thomas.

He is survived by three daughters, Dani Thomas (Cory) of Bogalusa, Sonni Entrevia of New Orleans, and Courtney Hartfield Talley of Texas; one son, Jeremy Hartfield of Florida; his mother, Sarah Terry of Bogalusa; one sister, Vicky Chatalier of Bogalusa; and four grandchildren, Alyssa Talley, Aden Talley, McKinlea Wheat and Bailey Thomas.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating.
