Fern Grantham

Fern Grantham, 75, born on Feb. 21, 1941, in Almont, N.D., passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her residence in Bush.

She was affectionately known as Nonnie to all who loved her. She worked at the Carr Memorial Airport in Bogalusa. Fern was a member of Cassidy Park and Cassidy Park Museum in Bogalusa. She was a member of Covington Presbyterian Church in Covington.

She is survived by her husband, Farley Grantham of Bush; three daughters, Diane King, Susan King and Sandra Victoriano, all of Bush; one son, David Grantham of Covington; two sisters, Betty LeFevre of Salinas, Calif., and Carol Sharp of Alturas, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyd Alvah Cooper and Caroline Dorothy Remfert; one sister, Peggy Sandberg; and one brother, Loyd Cooper.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Otho Schilling officiating. Interment will follow at Grantham Cemetery in Bush.
