Kevin Dewitt Freeman, 45, born on Jan. 15, 1971, in Bogalusa, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016, at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington.

He is survived by one daughter, Morgan Rebkah Freeman; two sons, Kevin Ryan Freeman and Brennan Chase Freeman; his mother, Shirley Freeman; one brother, Chad Freeman; one grandchild, Jerry “Kade” Galloway IV; other family members, Bill and Jane Jenkins and Dana Chavers; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Jenkins; his father, Dewitt Roy Freeman; and a sister, Tatianna Freeman McClendon.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 22, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 23, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Larry Lassley officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
