Ollie Dean Magee

Mrs. Ollie Dean Magee was born April 12, 1921 to the late Mr. Hayes and Creasie Davis of Franklinton, and she departed for glory on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

She united with Bethel Church of Christ Holiness at a young age and remained a faithful servant until her departure. She served as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer for the WACC, Deaconess, cafeteria worker and church janitor.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories five children, Bernard (Brenda) Magee of Franklinton, Alvin (Betty) Magee of Tucson, Ariz., Annette (Curtis) Taylor of Franklinton, Patricia Magee of Franklinton, and Donice (Anderson) Briggs of Baton Rouge; a daughter-in-law, Robin Magee of White Plains, Va.; a sister, Georgia McCant of Hanford, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; special friends, Melvadean Conerly, Ida Sibley, Lonnie Bickham, Jessica Burkhalter, Linda G., Moms for a Day, Egan Home Health and Hospice, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayes and Creasie Davis; her husband, Marshall Magee; and two sons, Marshall Lynn Magee and Ronnie Magee.

The visitation will be Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness USA in Franklinton.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness USA. Elder Jarvis Lee will be officiating. The interment will be at Bethel Church cemetery.
