“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven”
(Ecclesiastes 3:1).
Zachary Lonzell Morris was born July 25, 1966, to Elaine Foster Morris and Wilbur Morris in Bogalusa.
He joined New Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. A. L. Owens and remained a member under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Linza Rae Cotton. Zack was a faithful member until his health failed.
On March 4, 2016, God, in his infinite wisdom, called Zack to a place of rest, where there is no more pain, suffering and crying and wheelchair bound.
Zachary graduated from Varnado High School in 1984. He continued his education at Pearl River Junior College, Washburn University and Southern University. He was an outstanding football player.
Zachary was married to Romona Coleman in 1991.
