David L. Comans, 70, passed away on Nov. 24, 2015, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his children, David (Carmen Lorena) Comans of Bogalusa, James (Bonnie) Comans of Bogalusa, Glinda (James) Riley of Bogalusa, and Sherri Lynn (Jerry Davis) Spillman; one brother, Billy (Rita Sue) Gordan of Union, Miss.; one sister-in-law, Jane Comans of Carthage, Miss.; one aunt, Anne Sue Glission of Brandon, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Aaron David Spillman Comans, Cole Allen Spillman, Heather Nicole Comans, Brandy Lee Comans, Dakota James Riley, Erica Cheyenne Riley and Lisa Marie Wilmoth; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordan Brown Comans and Mary Magdeline Dunn Comans; two brothers, James Curtis Dunn and Hugh Wayne Comans; two sisters, Barbara Ann Comans and Rita Faye Comans; one daughter, Teresa Marie Comans; one niece, Brenda Carol Comans; two nephews, Jimmy Dewayne Comans and Donald Earl Comans; and his beloved pet, Husky.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m., with interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
