Sara Beard Mullett, 25, gained her angel wings on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015.

Sara was born in New Orleans on April 9, 1990, to Larry Joe Beard and LaDonna Becnel. She graduated from Bogalusa High School in 2008.

She married her high school sweetheart, John Roy Mullett, the son of Roy and Kimby Rimes Mullett, in 2009. Shortly after their marriage along came Myles. She was a loving and devoted mother; Myles was her world.

Aside from being a loving mother and wife, Sara was also a sister to Kristian Estes, Brooke Boudreaux, Dylan Wood and Kaitlyn Klaus, and an aunt to Braiden Estes, Makenzi Estes and Madison Boudreaux.

Sara was known for her bright and energetic personality. She never met a stranger, and if you were in need she never hesitated to help, whether it be encouraging words or the shirt off her back. She had a giver’s heart.

The only thing that shined brighter than Sara’s personality was her love for her son, Myles. Sara had many hobbies, which included sewing, crafting and of course shopping — her sense of style was impeccable.

Sara was preceded in death by her father, Larry Joe Beard; stepfather, Hank Becnel; grandfather, Larry Beard; and grandmother, Robbie Elledge.

Sara left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. She will always be remembered in her loved ones’ hearts and will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Bogalusa on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m.
