Ann Marie Nielsen, 75, and a resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a longtime member of Annunciation Catholic Church.

She is survived by her two sons, William Wayne (Wendy) Nielsen Jr. of Bogalusa and Kevin Arnold (Deona) Nielsen of Bogalusa; two daughters, Karin Nielsen Ryan of Monroe, and Leisha (Duke) McHugh of Monroe; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodruff and Carrie Chastant and her husband, William Wayne Nielsen Sr.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Annunciation Catholic Church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the funeral service at 11. Father Daniel Brouillette will officiate with interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
