Wallace Kimball

Wallace M. Kimball, 99, of Bogalusa, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Lakeview Regional Hospital in Covington.

He was born Nov. 8, 1915, and was the owner of Landry’s for 10 years.

He is survived by three sons, Fred (Frances) Kimball of Bogalusa, Larry (Ruth) Kimball of Poplarville, Miss., and Darryl Kimball of Poplarville; one brother, Ted Kimball, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; seven grandchildren, Reagan Kimball, Mellissa Runnels, Scott Kimball, Bryan Kimball, Mike Kimball, Neal Anderson and Wayne Anderson; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elvera Borde Kimball; his daughter, Jean Anderson; and a granddaughter, Donna Normand.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, on Monday, Sept. 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation continued at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. with Bro. Chad Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery.
