Dezzie E. Miller Sprehe, 85, born on Nov. 25, 1929, in Osyka, Miss., died on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at her residence in Bogalusa.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Sprehe Bond; her son, David Eugene Sprehe; her brother, George Jones Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Erwin D. Sprehe; her parents, Eugene Miller and Miami Barber Miller Jones; her sisters, Sible Carter, Velma White and Thelma Bennett; her brothers, E. J. Miller and Ocie Miller; and her son-in-law, Donald E. Bond.

Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral services will start at 2 p.m. with Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
