Vaughn Lee Boyd, 82, born May 14, 1933, passed away Aug. 30, 2015, at Our Lady of Angels.

She was born in the Eastern Shore area of Maryland, and was a longtime resident of Bogalusa. She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by her husband, Walter S. Boyd of Bogalusa; two sons, Walter L. Boyd of Varnado and Rian Lee Boyd of Bogalusa; a daughter, Patricia Irene Boyd of Bogalusa; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Benjamin and Margaret Irene Massey.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, beginning at 10 a.m. until the service time at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bill Moon will conduct the memorial services. The interment of the ashes will be in White Bluff, Miss., at 11 a.m. Monday morning.
