Ben “Bruce” Dykes, 55, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson.

He is the son of Ethel Broome Dykes and the late Dent Denver Dykes. He is the brother of Dent Junior Dykes (Sarah), Ronald G. Dykes, Phillip W. Dykes, Wyvon D. Holliday and Phillis D. Cone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at Palestine Baptist Church in Bogalusa, on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington.
