Ben’s Ford’s Lady Eagles falls to Centreville in district contest at home

Ben’s Ford Christian School lost to Centreville Academy, 16-1, in a district contest Monday at home in three innings.
The Lady Eagles left four runners on base.
Ben’s Ford got off to a rough start.
Centreville scored four times in the first before adding five more in the second. Centreville added seven more in the third.
Addison Seal reached base twice. She singled and walked.
Chloe Barber posted two hits and scored the team’s only run.
Barber tallied on Callie Sprehe’s run-scoring double in the third inning.
Anna Bella Seal walked.
“We fell behind early and just couldn’t overcome it,” Ben’s Ford coach Mark McGehee said. “We couldn’t get enough base runners on. That’s a good team we played. We’ve got to cut down on the mental errors. We can overcome the physical errors and we’ve made great strides in cutting down on the physical errors since last game.”
