Aeschylus Harry

Aeschylus “Slack” Delondon Harry was born to Sylvester “Moses” L. Harry Sr. and Mamie Sheridan Harry on April 3, 1960, in Bogalusa. He departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015.

Slack joined the United Methodist Church at an early age and remained a member until his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester “Moses” Harry; brother, Henry Joseph Harry; and grandparents, Henry and Elnora Jones Sheridan and Jason and Lottie Harry.

Slack leaves to cherish his life his loving and devoted mother, Mamie Sheridan Harry of Angie; five brothers, Sylvester L. Harry Jr. of Fayreville, N.J., Ryan Anthony Jefferson of DeQuince, Levon (Carolyn) Harry Sr. of Varnado, Lesley McKinley of Angie and Rick Owens of Bogalusa; five sisters, Alice (Melvin) Jones of Virginia, Deidra (Leo) Sharp Sr. of Chesapeake, Va., Shelia (Cory) Harry of Houston, Sonya Pack of Angie and Shaliza Manuel of Varnado; two special nephews, Leo D. Sharp Jr. and  Joshua Harry; and three special nieces, Ramona Yarbrough, DeCharlus Riley and Ann Rashonda Lavar; two great nephews and five great nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 20, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 21, at noon at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie, with the Rev. Terrence August officiating. Interment will be held in the Live Oak Cemetery in Angie.
