William Ingram Jr.

William T. Ingram Jr., age 85, resident of Sun, passed away Aug. 15, 2015, at his residence in Sun. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.  He also served as a deacon in the First Baptist Church in Sun.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Amelia Mizell Ingram; one sister, Ezzie Ingram Nastasi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Terrell Ingram Sr. and Eliza Crain Ingram; brothers, Harlan Ingram and Newton Ingram; and sisters, Elsie Ingram, Lilyan Young, Evis Young and Doris Crain.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation continued on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, from 9 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mizell Cemetery in Sun. Brother Stan Salassi officiated.
